Literary fantasy and sci-fi wanted

3&5 seeks to promote literary works of fantasy and science fiction. Editor-in-Chief Ethan Fast believes great writing transcends genre. Fast is a PhD student at Stanford, and spends the remainder of his time writing novels and building companies. 3&5 invites submissions from writers of literary science fiction and fantasy. Popular authors who write the sort of fiction they’re soliciting include: Ursula K. Le Guin, Gene Wolfe, Phillip K. Dick, China Miéville, Mervyn Peake, and Neil Gaiman, to name a few.

Length:  1,000-3,000 words

Payment:  5 cents/word

Rights:  First publication, archival, and anthology rights;  all rights return to the author after publication
