Looking for high-quality, exciting action and adventure literature that contains exotic locales, dangerous missions, high-tech espionage, and death-defying heroes who are always willing to risk it all to save the girl, the day, or the world. Stories should be fast-paced and thrilling, with characters that are distinctive and real. Open to considering proposals for an action and adventure series, and welcome first-time authors.
Illusio & Baqer: Young Adult
Will publish books by authors with staying power, powerful writers who pen a series drawing on addictive characters (think Magic Treehouse, Hank the Cowdog, Magic Schoolbus) as well as hard-hitting teen fiction with plots mirroring teen challenges or pushing the envelope (and blurring genre lines) with tales of war, period pieces, paranormal, science fiction, or mystery plot lines featuring teen protagonists.
Shannon Elm: Memoir & Nonfiction
Seeks writers skilled in word craft who possess the necessary drive to tell the truth in fiction, or to tell their own stories. Since the best tales are told by ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, we seek unpublished or unsung authors whose craft with language elevates the experience of reading their work.
