crimson romance logoCrimson Romance is Simon and Schuster’s digital-first romance line. Their romance ebooks contain diverse characters and plots. They were recognized as the best multicultural/interracial romance publisher by more than 1,500 readers who voted in the 2012 Swirl Awards.

Crimson Romance is open to submissions in five popular romance subgenres:

  • Suspense

All authors — agented or unagented, beginner or veteran writers — are welcome to submit any works that have not been previously published in whole or in part in any media, including self-publishing (Kindle, CreateSpace, etc.).

Word length
Novels: 50,000 to 90,000 words
Novellas: 30,000 to 50,000 words
